My responsibilities within the BMX Playground Association
As Commerical board member I am responsible for the following activities:
- set financial and commercial objectives in co-operation with our Treasurer and realizing our action plans
- set our marketing strategy, write and regularly update our marketing plan
- bring in sponsors and partners, set up contracts and lead negotiations
- act as spokesman for businesses concerning convention arrangements, teambuilding offers, staff days, etc.
- development of new business and market research
- overall sparring partner for our Chairman on a tactical and strategical level
Occupational background
I have worked in banking and insurance for over 13 years. I worked at the Rabobank organisation (the biggest retail bank in the Netherlands) for 4 years and 9 years at the largest retail insurance company in the Netherlands: N.V. Interpolis. I have filled several positions during these 13 years such as: Retail Advisor, Business Consultant, Team Manager, Region Manager and Project Manager. At this moment I'm self employed and partner in a Belgian company.
