My responsibilities within the BMX Playground Association
As Secretary I am responsible for the following activities:
- writing the reports of our board meetings
- filing and management of all official documents, contracts, permits, etc.
- operational (day tot day) management at BMX Playground Indoor Bikepark
Occupational background
I have worked in various sectors during my professional carreer. I have worked as a national and international truck driver for several logistic companies. After my period in logistics I have worked as an Assistant Manager at a meat processing company. Because of my growing experience as a business manager I was able to start as Business Manager at a company called "De Gouden Leeuw" from Geldrop. This company was specialized in renting all the materials that are needed for organizing parties, receptions, etc. Besides my work I have always been active in events that focus on young people. Visiting BMX Playground at it's first location in Veldhoven got me all enthousiastic again about the BMX-cycling sport. I immediately offered my help to the chairman Laurens Dingen to make a contribution in reaching BMX Playground's goals. I'm an former BMX-cyclist with a passion for the sport and I like the idea of being able to contribute to the future of this sport.
